What is NuFlux?

NuFlux is a calcium carbide based ladle slag modifier that reduces the oxygen content of your slag, making high oxygen furnace slag into usable ladle slag.

As a result of this product, alloy recoveries are improved and consumption of synthetic flux is dramatically reduced.

The NuFlux ladle flux system produces a thermally insulating, fluid, basic, efficient slag with excellent metallurgical properties to maximize alloy recovery, minimize alloy fade, and protect ladle refractories.
